Fusion Schemes Based on IRS-Enhanced Cooperative Spectrum Sensing for Cognitive Radio Networks

The detection performance of cooperative spectrum sensing (CSS) is poor when there are obstacles blocking. Therefore, fusion schemes based on intelligent reflecting surface (IRS)-enhanced CSS investigated. Existing can be divided into the soft combination and hard combination. In combination, each secondary user (SU) uploads decision statistic to a center (FC). Comparatively, during SU reports local 0/1 result FC instead statistic. this paper, equal gain (EGC) selection (SC) studied for weighted (WHC) scheme an optimal set (OSC) proposed signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). By using definition non-centrality chi-square distribution moment-matching method, closed-form expressions average probability all derived. Simulation results reveal that IRS-enhanced obviously outperforms decode forward (DF) relay case no IRS case. addition, our OSC superior K-rank in terms performance.
